Help for iPhone, Mac, and CarPlay
Start with the quick checks below. If the problem continues, Magic Caster can create a redacted diagnostic report that you review before sending.
Confirm both devices use the same Apple Account, have iCloud Drive enabled, and are running the same Magic Caster version. In Library Preferences, open Cloud Sync and check the latest status before trying again.
Open Downloads to inspect active or failed work. Check available storage and the podcast’s retention settings, then retry the individual episode. Locked downloads are protected from automatic cleanup.
Re-enter credentials in the podcast’s settings if a private feed stops refreshing. Credentials remain in the system Keychain and are sent only to the host you authorize.
Verify the episode still has an available media URL. If streaming fails, try downloading it first. For imported media, confirm the original file is still accessible on the device.
Confirm your iPhone is connected to a CarPlay-compatible vehicle and Magic Caster has finished loading its library. Start playback on your phone once if Now Playing has not appeared yet.
In Library Preferences, choose Diagnostic Report. Magic Caster removes titles, feed URLs, file paths, usernames, and credentials. Nothing is sent unless you export it yourself.
Still need help?
Email a description of what happened, what you expected, your device and OS version, and whether the episode was streamed, downloaded, imported, or authenticated. Attach the redacted report only if you choose.
